Magic Emperor is one I enjoy a lot. if you can't find it by that name the other is Devil house keeper. the rest that I read don't have evil mcs but some have situations where the mc can be evil I'll list them for you all of these are Manga's but you might like them as they are all really awesome or good don't know if they have LNS. MGA was a good novel to read, but it became repetitive, countess mentioning of chu xuanyuan(which only show a few times in the novel), MGA wasn't what it used to be with bold writing style on character actions, and the harem has been limited with every female after a certain arc being friendzoned.

My best recommendation for Chinese novel is "my wife is a beautiful CEO". Bold writing style, very interesting and solid harems, plots and twists that'll make wonder about your life, and you still Wonder how a man can have the dirty dirty with a woman one three different personalities.

Well then if you love Wanmei Shijie (Perfect World) then it's sequel Zhe Tian (Shrouding the Heaven) is currently being developed by Original Force, but the story wont be about Shi Hao, new main character. Not sure when it will be out most likely 2023

Well I'm ashamed to say that I'm so far behind in Perfect World, I was watching when it first came out but forgot about it (leaving off at the episode when the stone village was destroyed and he went back to see if it was livable. Then he ends up running into that little girl (with a attitude for no reason aha) who gets picked up by one of her father's subordinates and the MC finds out she's rich.

I couldn't find that episode so I've going in order starting from when he's in the stone village trying to get stronger to go find his parents not too far from the beginning I guess. Now I'm binge watching all the way up to 58 but I've been watching other series in between so it's taking a while. I wouldn't say I "love" Perfect World but it's watchable so thanks for the info, definitely don't mind more material to watch.

I can't praise this show enough! The emotional delivery is just as perfect as its fight scenes. You can literally see the change in Han Li's emotion, from his excitement talking about his baby spiders to dejection when he looks at the non-responsive Zhang Tie. His quest for power and immortality actually exposes his powerlessness and loneliness behind. What a price to pay! And what a phenomenal production!

I like how Han Li visits his old friends and even pay respect to their graves. I literally forgot who that person was that took him to the sect in the beginning. I love how they connected things together. Like when he now thinks about leaving the sect, so the first person to pay a visit is his first senior.

Well that guy helped him a lot. I think he protected him when he was a newbie and probably saved his life. He also was helpful to actually teach him when no one else would.

Every episode is just so elegant and exciting, even with no action it still keeps you enticed with excitement and anticipation!! Not many series (especially long ones) from anime to donghua has been consistent like this has in quality of animation, story and characters. I'm in donghua heaven right now and don't want it to end, but when the ED song comes on I feel both sadness and joy impatiently waiting for the next episode.

er...I get what you are saying, but he is a powerful and important guest and they have a combined army, so he does have some authority. He has a much higher cultivation so his spiritual sense can extend pretty far. So that is how he can not only see the message arriving but go check it out when it does. So when the guy comes down from his guard post he is already there to scold him. Lastly, if you were infiltrating the enemy camp you would of course try to intercept any incoming message transmission, anonymously break the antenna for receiving signals, or put one of your people in charge of the communications.

No offense, but these are all a stretch of logic, and honestly forced excuses. He is just one person, and for everything to happen at EXACTLY the right time is incredibly bs. It's not like he came running, or the omniscient perspective of the watcher would have caught it. Nor was he keeping tabs on everything in order to place himself organically at the place the messenger would run. He was casually walking, just doing his thing, and he just so happened to come across the ONLY messenger with the ONLY message that communicated crucially important info. Re-watch the scene as many times as you'd like. Plus he talked him into it with convenient logic that shouldn't apply if it part of the message was that it MUST go to a specific person due to being a specific sect's business. The guy got lucky, and even remarked on how they'll have to act sooner because he had no idea someone would be sending that message so quickly.

We can make excuses for the author all day, but that's exactly what they'd be: Excuses. The author wanted to make a thing to happen plot-wise, and the method they used was very forced. That's all I'm saying.

I agree, you have made fair points, I suppose that having read and enjoyed the novel I want to feel justified in this and many things that are fairly well conceived in various novels don't translate into manhua or donghua very well based on limitations of the media vs. reading - so they can often come across as cumbersome, awkward or contrived. Its been a long time since I read this and there are almost 2500 chapters, but at this early point in the novel I don't recall feeling like there was some plot armor here.

It's very true that novels have a tendency to paint a better picture, largely due to our own imagination and automatic gap-filling that our mind tends to apply to such scenes. Also very true is that when you add an observable medium like a video, they would have to animate it in such a way that it does justice to the scene described in the novel.

Perhaps this just comes down to how it was animated by the studio, vs what the novel actually said. Many, many animated light novels, or manhua, have that same issue. Even in manhua it only shows still scenes, so we can still use our imagination a bit. This is interesting, because it sheds a light on how difficult animation is from the perspective of telling the source content's story in a way that makes sense to the brain.

It's rated 9.7 (out of 10) right now on its main website, Bilibili. Not many shows come close to this. I'd even give it a 9.9.

Damn, seriously?! That's amazing, I guess I stand corrected then!! Yeah not many can but this one has true potential so I can understand why'd you give it a 9.9. I'm quite picky and hardcore with the rating so it has to be excellent and finish even better for such rating or for a perfect masterpiece (which is my 10/10 rating that I've yet to give anything). I pray this finishes just as strong as it began, only a few has been so satisfying including this, so if this finishes perfect then it'll probably be my first 10/10 rating ever.

I'm excited to rate it so bad, but it has many more seasons to go I think, so it won't be for a while (which I love because more is always the best), though scares me as the longer it goes on leaves room for mistakes, errors and negative possibilities to mess up it's fantastic run. I pray it can last until it's finale, which will be tough keeping up such high quality animations, story and characters, but I have faith it can succeed lol.

Fanren previews doesnt come out until a few days before the actual episode is released, you can try the youtube channel called 国漫宇宙 they usually have the previews a day or so before the episode is released. At the moment they only have the current episode's preview and the actual episode. This is the same for the official Bilibili streaming site

I have to post this before you confuse people with partly misleading information

Fanren Xiu Xian Chuan: Fanren Feng Qi Tian Nan Er is NOT the second season, it is a recap, so it isnt consider a season, NO RECAPS are ever considered a season.

The specials is part of the first arc and continues on from the first 17 episode, so I dont know why you list it in front of the first 17 episodes, it will confuse people when they want to watch the donghua in order

And stop calling it seasons, when it isnt, Fanren does it differently to other donghuas. They are just a title or should I say arc, each arc may or may not consist of seasons, if you look at Fanren Xiu Xian Chuan: Mo Dao Zheng Feng it had 3 seasons

It is more accurate to call them arc than anything else, but it is even more accurate to call just episode 50 of the ENTIRE Fanren series afterall the title of this episode is FANREN XIU XIAN CHUAN ZAI BIE TIANNAN SEASON 1 EPISODE 50 The whole series is split into arcs, not season as the Western and Japanese way of doing things, but they form an entire series which is why the episode numbers do not reset to 1 when there is a new arc (or the word "season")
